Addressing

Need a new address?

The Department works with the City of Bainbridge Island to assign address numbers for new residences and businesses on the Island.  Requests for addresses should be routed through the Planning Department at City Hall.

When seconds count, we can't help you if we can't find you!

The Bainbridge Island Fire Department encourages you to post your house numbers clearly at the head of your driveway- the last turn to get to your front door! We will provide, at no charge, one blue address plate per residence. If placed properly, these signs should be visible both day and night, and help firefighters find your front door.  To make arrangements to pick up your addressing sign, please contact .

Addressing signs are also available at most hardware and home improvements stores as well as through online vendors.  You may obtain additional blue addressing signs through the Kitsap County online ordering system HERE.
