The BIFD offers public outreach programs to our community throughout the year.  Our monthly Monday night CPR/AED class is intended for individual members of the community and is offered at no charge through generous donations from the Bainbridge Island Volunteer Firefighters Association.

Our courses include:

  • Hands-on CPR/AED training - Why Learn CPR?
    • Location: Station 21 @ 8895 Madison Ave. NE
    • Time: 7-9 PM
    • NOTE: This is NOT a healthcare provider certified class.
  • Stop the Bleed - learn how to effectively control traumatic bleeding until help arrives
    • Location: Station 21 @ 8895 Madison Ave. NE
    • Time: 7-9 PM
  • Live fire extinguisher training
    • Location: Station 23 @ 12985 Phelps Rd
    • Time: 6-8 PM
  • Wildfire Mitigation - The Kitap Sun covers our class!  Read the article

Note: Only ONE PERSON per registration will be accepted. Due to the nature of our electronic registration system, double entries may be dropped from the registration process.  If you enrolled for a class you are unable to attend, please contact us so that we may remove you from the class roster and open up the spot for another participant.  Please contact program coordinator if you have any questions. All posted classes are free for community members.
